We received a very importance pet preform mould wear plate at beginning of 2023. Normally the pet preform mould wear plate need very high level tolerance, pin hole position. Due to equipment precision level can’t meet customer request 0.005mm on thickness,Then we keep 0.15mm thickness wear plate allowance after discuss with customer . but when we grinding the plate, we find a problems, if the wear plate flatness not good, even we keep enough tolerance to customer, it still can’t be meet 0.005mm at our customer equipment, so we find flatness more importance than the thickness tolerance request, The grinding time and cost more higher than our estimate,. Finally we decision to keep flatness even we pay more cost.
At last, we find the thickness allowance was kept, but the screw hole deepth not enough , and we measure all screw hole and make it deeper, then we saving customer lots of time. It will be much happy that customer confirm our effort and carefully on this project.
