Definition

The bimetal bushing is a cold steel matrix with sintered copper-lead alloy and aluminum-tin alloy bimetal bushing. The surface of the shaft sleeve is designed with oil hole oil groove to adapt to lubricating work under oil conditions. It can replace the copper sleeve of the general sliding part. Because it is a thin wall shaft sleeve of roll molding, it can reduce the radial size of the bearing, reduce the volume of the machine, and reduce the cost. It is mainly used in the automotive industry, such as: engine main bearing, connecting rod bushing, rocker arm bushing, gearbox gear bushing, spring plate bushing of chassis system, brake shoe bushing, etc.
