The FB090 bronze rolled bearing is an economical sliding bearing formed by cold rolling a high-density tin-bronze alloy (such as CuSn8P or CuSn6.5P) as the base material. The working surface of the product is covered with regular diamond-shaped oil pockets (or spherical oil pockets and oil grooves customized to customer requirements), which serve as grease reservoirs. The primary element in this alloy is tin (Sn), which is mainly used to enhance the alloy's hardness, strength, and wear resistance. Variations in its content are the main reason for the wide range of prices for CuSn8P on the market.
Ⅲ.Performance Characteristics

1. High Load-Carrying Capacity and Fatigue Resistance

FB090 bearings feature high static and dynamic load-carrying capacities, with a static load capacity of up to 120 N/mm², a dynamic load capacity of 40 N/mm², and a compressive strength of approximately 470 N/mm². They can withstand impact loads and alternating stresses, making them particularly suitable for heavy-duty applications.

2. Excellent Wear Resistance and Anti-Seizing Properties

The CuSn8 alloy has a hardness of HB 90–120. Combined with a diamond-shaped oil reservoir structure on the mating surfaces, it ensures a continuous supply of grease to the friction surfaces, forming a stable oil film. This effectively prevents direct contact between the shaft and bearing surfaces, reducing the risk of wear and seizing.

3. Good Corrosion Resistance

Tin bronze exhibits good corrosion resistance in atmospheric environments, fresh water, and various chemical media, making it suitable for harsh environments such as outdoor machinery, mining equipment, and agricultural machinery.

4. Excellent Thermal Conductivity and Heat Resistance

With a thermal conductivity of approximately 60 W/(m·K), it efficiently dissipates frictional heat. Combined with a wide operating temperature range of -80°C to +200°C (extending to -100°C to +200°C in certain applications), this ensures stable bearing operation in high-temperature environments.

5. Economical Design and Easy Installation

The rolled thin-walled structure (typically with a wall thickness of ≤ 2.5 mm) significantly reduces copper material consumption and machining time compared to traditional turned bronze sleeves, resulting in a lightweight, low-cost solution. The open-end design facilitates installation, allowing the sleeve to be directly pressed into the bearing housing, with the inner diameter capable of being precision-machined as needed after assembly.
