Definition

Self-lubricating standard thrust gasket ‌ is a high performance solid lubrication product, usually in high force brass matrix, inlaid with a solid lubricant such as graphite or MoS2. This design breaks through the limitations of traditional plain bearing relying on oil film lubrication, and can release the lubricant embedded on the matrix during operation to form a solid lubrication film, isolate the direct friction between the two moving surfaces, reduce the coefficient of friction and reduce wear ‌.
