Definition
Bimetal bushings are a kind of sliding bearing components made of two different metal materials composite, usually low carbon steel as the substrate, the surface sintered or composite copper alloys (such as CuPb10Sn10, CuPb24Sn4, etc.) in order to form a wear-resistant layer. The design combines the high strength of steel with the wear resistance and self-lubricating properties of copper alloys, which can withstand high loads and operate stably at low speeds or under limited lubrication conditions.
